YANMAR Showcases Complete Power and Sailboat Engine Line-Up at Virtual Nautic

Visitors can register to view the latest products and interact with the YANMAR team in Hall 4, Stands B11 and B22, at Europe’s biggest online boat show on 12th and 13th March

YANMAR Marine International (YMI) is showcasing its latest engines and technology to an expected audience of 30,000 visitors on two stands (B11 and B22) at the new Virtual Nautic, an online version of the Paris Boat Show.

Described as Europe’s largest virtual boat show, the interactive Virtual Nautic on 12th and 13th March is free of charge for visitors, bringing together over 1,000 professionals from the global boating industry and featuring 150 booths.

YMI joins with the strengthened YANMAR France regional office to exhibit a range of products in Hall 4, with separate dedicated stands catering specifically for visitors interested in either powerboats or sailboats. Displaying its complete line-up of common rail marine diesel engines spanning a range of 10hp to 640 hp, YANMAR will also use the platform to introduce the new 6LF marine diesel engines, which have just started shipping to customers, and the next-generation YANMAR VC20 Vessel Control System.

Sander Gesink, Marketing Manager, YANMAR Marine International, said: “Virtual Nautic is a major opportunity for YANMAR to connect with the boating community and introduce visitors to our full range of engines and solutions. With an innovative and interactive environment to recreate a ‘real’ show, we are particularly looking forward to the experience and the opportunity to chat with people about the features and benefits of our products as anticipation builds for the new boating season. We would like to invite everyone to register now and schedule an appointment with us.”

The fullest range available on the market today, YANMAR’s new-generation engines suit a wide variety of vessels from sailboats, multihulls, superyacht tenders and motorboats to fast sports craft and wake boats. The engines feature the renowned YANMAR reliability and durability, plus exceptional acceleration, fuel efficiency, quiet and virtually smoke and odor-free operation, low vibration and smooth-running performance.

Setting the global standard for sailboat and small craft engines, the YANMAR range encompasses the GM, YM, JH and 4LV Series, while its powerboat portfolio offers responsive power for shaft, stern and jet drives with the 4LV, 8LV, 6LY, and 6LF engines. The new high horsepower 6LF model is ideal for large superyacht tenders and planning and semi-planning motoryachts up to 55ft.

The Fédération des Industries Nautiques (FIN) decided to launch Virtual Nautic in response to the COVID-19 crisis and the cancellation of most boat shows. Visitors can register now here: https://www.virtualnautic.com/en/virtual-nautic/registration.htm. They will then receive a link to download an application which will enable them to create their avatar, access the exhibition virtual world and make appointments with exhibitors during their visit slot.
