The Bluestone Group to Exhibit at SMM Hamburg for the First Time

Monaco – 25 June 2024 - The Bluestone Group, a renowned technical services specialist for the maritime and offshore renewable industries, is excited to announce its participation in the SMM Hamburg trade show this September. This marks Bluestone’s debut as an exhibitor at this leading maritime event.

As a global provider of marine technical services, Bluestone has extensive experience in delivering major EPC retrofits, supervision of construction of innovative vessels and servicing offshore wind farms. The company is known for its strong emphasis on clean and innovative technologies both on existing and new ships.

Matteo Di Maio, President at Bluestone, stated, “We believe that SMM Hamburg will be an excellent platform to showcase our services to an international audience, particularly our EPC green retrofits and advisory on innovative technologies designed to enhance energy efficiency and reduce fuel consumption. The event is a key gathering for shipbuilders, owners, and suppliers, and we look forward to meeting our loyal customers, our technology partners and exploring new opportunities.”

The company's team consists of industry experts in project execution, site management, naval architecture, ship construction, marine engineering, marine warranty and vessel operations.

Bluestone excels in sustainable technology, specializing in retrofitting clean and innovative solutions to improve vessels’ carbon footprints. The company also boasts a dedicated offshore wind division, with a dedicated desk in the UK which has provided services in over 60 Offshore Wind Farms, including Dogger Bank where the team is currently involved in project management and operations support.

In May this year, Bluestone announced a new contract for plan approval and site supervision of two advanced cable-laying vessels for Prysmian, a global leader in cable systems and underwater power cables.

“We are proud of our collaboration and long-standing relationship with esteemed clients such as Prysmian. Our contribution to such projects highlights our extensive expertise in newbuilding supervision and allows us to keep expanding our know-how in cutting-edge technologies available in the industry. Our commitment to excellence drives us to continually enhance our team and software, enriching our services for our valued clients," added Di Maio.

The Bluestone team will be available throughout SMM in Hall A1, Stand 120. For more information and to schedule an appointment, please contact Stefano Saccone at stefano.saccone@bluestone-group.com or Matteo Di Maio at matteo.dimaio@bluestone-group.com or visit www.bluestone-group.com.
