Sika Limited: A New Dedicated Marine Role for Sika’s Technical Expert
Sika UK, a leader in bonding, sealing, damping and reinforcing products has appointed Gareth Ross as Marine Market Field Specialist following an internal re-organisation.
Previously working within Sika UK’s Technical Services division across a wide range of sectors, Gareth’s new position will enable him to direct his knowledge and experience solely at the marine DIY & Professional market where he will have more of a customer facing role.
With more than twenty five years of experience working at Sika UK in its Technical Division and as a Lab Technician, Gareth is well known in the marine industry having built excellent relationships with distributors, boat builders and chandlers over the years. His technical knowledge of marine sealants is highly regarded and he is a familiar face at UK exhibitions and events, holding regular seminars and talks about Sika’s range of bonding and caulking products.
Commenting on his new role, Gareth said, “I am delighted to be exclusively working in the marine sector, which is an area that I have long had a professional interest in. My new role will mean that I am now able to offer our marine customers more dedicated product support and application advice.”
