METSTRADE 2022: Fischer Panda UK Announces the Launch of a new 5kW Shaft Drive and ePanda Series 8.0

Fischer Panda UK has announced that the new ePanda Series 8.0, comprising a new 5kW electric shaft drive, will make its world debut at METSTRADE 2022. This latest advancement in smart electric power technology from German manufacturer Fischer Panda has been developed in response to strong demand for complete power solutions for low-powered recreational craft.
Comprising the ePanda Drive, the ePanda Power Unit and the ePanda Control Unit, the ePanda Series 8.0 will be the first product to hit the recreational marine market and includes the newly developed 5 kW shaft drive. The air-cooled drive, which forms a fixed unit with the inverter, is brushless, sensorless and features permanent magnet technology. This makes it a low-maintenance, extremely efficient drive, weighing only 22 kg.

The new 5kW shaft drive for 48V systems will be shown alongside the ePanda Series 8.0 for the first time on the Fischer Panda stand 02.509 at METSTRADE in Amsterdam, which takes place from 15 to 17 November 2022.
