Karpaz Gate Marina Resort Launches Packaged Experiences for 2023
Karpaz Gate Marina, a pioneering new barefoot luxury destination in North Cyprus, announces its range of unique retreat packages offering activity, wellness and gourmet experiences for the 2023 season.
The first international-standard marina resort in North Cyprus is now welcoming guests who are seeking serenity and nature in an undiscovered corner of the Mediterranean.
Inspired by a deep affinity with the sea and a connection to its natural surroundings on the protected Karpaz peninsula, Karpaz Gate Marina invites its clients to relish the region’s tranquility and peaceful environment while enjoying the highest standards of leisure facilities and personalised concierge service.
The resort includes an ocean-themed boutique hotel, 300-berth marina for yachts and superyachts, Beach Club with pools, watersports and restaurant, plus a hamam and spa, The Gallery indoor pool and jacuzzi, and Hemingway’s Resto-Bar – all set in an idyllic protected bay.
With full details of each package and retreat to be confirmed on request or booking, general guidelines for Karpaz Gate Marina’s 2023 experiences, all including full or half board, use of the resort’s facilities and amenities, and airport transfers, are as follows:
Golf & Relaxation Package
- 3 nights in partial marina view cabin (opportunities for upgrades are available), bed and breakfast
- 1 day visit to nearby Korineum Golf Course – an 18-hole championship golf course (6,232 metres, 72 par) designed for golfers of all standards and ages. Golfers can enjoy mountain and sea views from each hole. Transfers and lunch included.
- Packages cater for beginners and experienced players, with options for 2 players or 1 player and a non-playing partner to enjoy lunch and a spa treatment
Gourmet Package
- 3 nights in partial marina view cabin (opportunities for upgrades are available), bed and breakfast
- Hemingway’s Resto-Bar Chef’s Table tasting menu experience for two
- Tour to Girne old harbour
- Visit to local Etel Winery (transport and tasting experience included)
- Traditional Cypriot restaurant lunch or dinner in the Karpaz region
Wellness Package
- 3 nights in partial marina view cabin (opportunities for upgrades are available), bed and breakfast
- Half-board menu (regular, vegetarian or vegan) at Hemingway's Resto-Bar
- One Reflexology treatment for each guest
- One Sultan Hamam treatment for each guest or Hamam for Two experience (both include a massage)
Sail Packages
- Yacht charter/tours: sailing yachts and motorboats available for full and half day trips
- Royal Yachting Association (RYA) sailing courses at the on-site RYA Training Centre, from introduction level to Ocean Master certification
Pilates, Yoga and Mindfulness Retreat Package
- 3 or 5-day program with 2 sessions a day, including the option of private Pilates or Yoga lessons, full vegetarian board, various ancillary activities, use of resort fitness facilities and other amenities
In addition to the above packages, Karpaz Gate Marina provides tours and opportunities for guests to experience the rich and intriguing destination of North Cyprus. Ancient castles and abbeys, traditional villages and vibrant culture combine with a natural landscape with mountainous peaks and an abundance of flora and fauna. Notable wildlife includes the region’s rare turtles and wild donkeys on the peninsula.
All within an easy drive of Karpaz Gate Marina, fascinating sites include Saint Hilarion Castle, Bellapais Abbey, Girne old harbour and the famous Apostolos Andreas Monastery. Famagusta, Nicosia and Kyrenia boast an abundance of shops and restaurants. Activities include hiking, snorkelling and scuba diving, golf, riding and paragliding.

Karpaz Gate Marina resort
The 52-cabin boutique hotel is the perfect base to explore North Cyprus, a relaxing retreat and a special destination for corporate, private or special events. Overlooking the marina and gardens, the hotel is meticulously designed and imaginatively specified with touches of nautical flair to provide a memorable sanctuary for international visitors. The accommodation includes 44 cabins of 32sqm, 4 family corner cabins of 58sqm with two ensuite bedrooms and 4 corner suite cabins of 58sqm with a living room, each with a terrace or balcony.
Guests have access to a range of on-site leisure facilities, including the Beach Club and restaurant at the west end of the resort, with 33m infinity pool, children’s pool, cabanas and loungers, private beach and water float off the beach. A Watersports Centre offers the use of kayaks and SUPs.
Exclusively available to marina and hotel guests, the new Gallery leisure facilities opened in 2022 and includes a luxurious 20m indoor pool and jacuzzi, with surrounding lounge chairs, plus showers and changing rooms. The building connects through to the gym, fully equipped with weight and aerobic machines. Two corporate meeting rooms have also been added, complete with audio and visual equipment.
The inviting hamam and spa features traditional hamam, steam room, sauna and ice showers. A fitness studio is equipped for pilates, dance or yoga classes. Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, Hemingway's Resto-Bar on the promenade offers traditional and international cuisine, a special chef’s table culinary experience and live music events.
Sustainability is at the heart of Karpaz Gate Marina, with an eco-friendly approach encompassing the vibrant trees and flowers thriving in the on-site nursery, while the vegetable and herb garden and green house provide fresh produce straight to the plate. An on-site solar plant supplies over half of the total electricity usage, while ecological and recycling initiatives include minimal usage of non-recycled materials like plastics. Creating an aquarium in the marina basin, a no fishing rule protects the wildlife and preserves the crystal-clear water.
