Fischer Panda UK Shows Industry Scope with EMS Healthcare Self-Drive Vehicle at Commercial Vehicle Show 2022
Mobile power solutions specialist showcases EMS Healthcare mobile medical vehicle at Commercial Vehicle Show, stand 5E92, 2022, 24th to 26th May
Fischer Panda UK announces a significant 50-vehicle contract with EMS Healthcare at this year’s CV Show. Demonstrating further expansion and expertise within the automotive and commercial vehicle market, leading hybrid power solutions provider Fischer Panda UK will feature an EMS Healthcare vehicle on its stand, following its recent contract win.
Highlighting Fischer Panda’s diversity within the sector, the ‘Outreach Project’ involved the supply and installation of hybrid mobile power applications on over 50 specialist vehicles, used for vital medical services within communities.
EMS Healthcare, which forms part of The EMS Group, owns, operates and manages one the UK’s most extensive fleets of flexible mobile medical units and vehicles. The EMS Group has been supporting healthcare providers for over 20 years in the provision of cost effective mobile medical solutions.
Andy Morris, Business Development Manager at The EMS Group, said: “Outreach is the latest innovation from The EMS Group and our first self-drive vehicle. We have collaborated with Fischer Panda to integrate a solar powered battery system, an important step for us in our quest to become more sustainable.
“With the added ability to top-up the batteries using the vehicle engine, the technology allows for extended use without the need for regular downtime or mains connections. This eliminates the need for power from sites, so we can reach more locations than ever before. For clinical needs in particular, our clients need the ability to take services to the hard to reach, and this innovation can absolutely help do that.”
He also said: “The Commercial Vehicle Show is a great opportunity for us to talk to people about their needs. We’re excited to showcase how Outreach and the technology on-board can help provide solutions to a number of challenges.’
The system supplied on each of the EMS Healthcare’s vehicles by Fischer Panda UK are:
- 1x Mastervolt Combi Master 12/3000-100 Inverter/Charger
- 2x Mastervolt Mac Plus 12/12-50 Smart Euro 5/6 engine Dc-Dc chargers
- 1x Mastervolt MLI Ultra 12/5500 Lithium Ion Battery
- Associated Mastervolt BMS (Battery Management System)
