Fischer Panda UK has announced that it is supplying its next generation iSeries generator to Fairline Yachts for standard fit on the new Targa 43 OPEN.

Making its UK premiere at this year’s Southampton Boat Show, the latest vessel designed for the British luxury yacht manufacturer by Italian superyacht designer Alberto Mancini features the quiet and efficient variable speed Panda PMS 10,000i as the standard line-fit model specified for customers.

The supply agreement will ensure Fairline’s customers can rely on the newest ‘Perfect Power’ Fischer Panda model type to run on-board systems and appliances, and charge batteries, while also benefiting from the generator’s innovative variable speed technology, industry-leading super-silent operation, compact size and light weight.

Chris Fower, Sales and Marketing Director, Fischer Panda UK, said: “We are delighted to strengthen our partnership with Fairline as the preferred generator supplier for the new Targa 43 OPEN, with the potential for the agreement to extend to further models. The selection of the 10,000i genset as the line fit option is a significant endorsement for our iSeries range of generators and evidence that our leading quiet, light, environmentally-friendly and fuel-efficient systems reflect Fairline’s high standards of design and build quality.”

Andrew Pope, Head of Design at Fairline Yachts, added, “At Fairline, we choose to work with suppliers who understand our vision and passion for quality. Fischer Panda’s systems emulate the Fairline ethos and are renowned for their high quality, reliability and durability. The team at Fischer Panda have supported the development of our new Targa 43 with their technical expertise, knowledge and attention to detail.”

The 10,000i genset is part of the popular Fischer Panda iSeries portfolio - the largest range featuring variable speed technology available on the market today offering marine generators from 5kVA up to 150kVA. Ideal for mid to large sail or motor boats, as well as superyachts with varied power demands, the innovative systems adjust the speed of the diesel engine according to power requirements, offering lower fuel consumption, quieter operation, longer service intervals, extended engine life, space and weight savings and reduced exhaust emissions.

Weighing just 120kg (plus 12.3kg frequency inverter), the 8kW (10kVA) 10,000i measures 540mm (l) x 445 (w) x 555 (h) and provides 230V AC pure sine wave output and is supplied with the Panda iControl2 digital display.

Debuting at the Southampton Boat Show from 14th to 23rd September, the Targa 43 OPEN is the latest result of the hugely successful partnership between Mancini and Fairline, which began with the Targa 63 GTO. It has created an instantly recognisable sleek hull with effortless styling and classic ‘made in Great Britain’ quality, showcasing the new era of Fairline Yachts.

The Fischer Panda Stand E020 will feature the company’s refurbished display trailer with live equipment demonstrations available at 11:30am every day. Fischer Panda UK offers full-system design capability, servicing and aftercare for a variety of commercial and leisure vessels.
