Fischer Panda Demonstrates Quiet-Running Generators at Southampton Boat Show

Fischer Panda is demonstrating the quiet operation of its leading range of marine generators by displaying a selection of working models on its outside stand at this year’s Southampton Boat Show.
Allowing customers to experience the renowned Fischer Panda low sound levels for themselves, the marine generator specialist will install its new variable speed Panda 5000i Neo unit to start up and run as requested during the show.
Fischer Panda’s line of diesel gensets, which are suitable for vessels ranging from RIBs to superyachts, are the quietest marine generators available. The units run at a noise level of between just 52db(A) and 55db(A) at a distance of 7m, depending on the capacity and type of the model.
Units up to 25 kW feature a GRP sound insulation capsule with a 3-layer, 25mm thick ‘3D’ sound insulation material as standard, with a thicker 5-layer version also available. Generators from 25 kW and above are supplied with a stainless steel sound-insulation Metal Professional Line (MPL) capsule. The MPL capsules are offered at an extra cost for generators from 6 kW to 25 kW.
The new Neo generators use Fischer Panda’s in-house designed water-cooled FPE320 single cylinder diesel engine which features integrated oil filter and synchronous alternator for even lower running noise levels and reduced vibration.

Fischer Panda Expands Comprehensive Range of Watermakers

Fischer Panda UK can now meet the water-making requirements of a range of vessels from small power and sail boats up to mega yachts with the addition of the high-capacity Aqua Matic XL to its comprehensive range of Sea Recovery watermakers.
The Aqua Matic XL features fully-automatic, one-touch operation and optional remote control and is developed for vessels requiring large quantities of water quickly and easily, making it suitable for super and megayachts, as well as workboats, support vessels, sport fish, charter and diving / cruising boats.
Much smaller and more compact than similar watermakers with comparably large production capabilities, the Aqua Matic XL offers significant water supply of 2200 to 3600 gallons per day (8328 to 12870 litres per day) without the need for extra maintenance or more space.
The XL version is offered as a higher production alternative to Fischer Panda’s popular range of fully-automated Sea Recovery Aqua Matic systems, which are more suited for boats of 50ft-100ft. These premium Aqua Matic models are ideal for users requiring a watermaker that operates independently and needs minimal maintenance.
Fischer Panda also caters for customers with mid-range boats looking for a well-priced system which is simple to maintain and operate, but still requires a certain amount of involvement from the user. Its middle capacity Sea Recovery Aqua Whisper models and its popular semi-automatic HRO (Horizon Reverse Osmosis) range of compact Seafari models are ideal for sailing yachts and motorboats and factory-fitted on Sunseeker and Fairline boats.
The Village Marine range is the third brand in Fischer Panda’s watermakers portfolio. These rugged systems are developed for 24/7 consumption and high levels of user operations, ideal for a variety of commercial, offshore, workboat and fishing vessels and tugs.

Fischer Panda Presents New Light and Compact Neo Generators at Southampton Boat Show

Fischer Panda introduces its new light and compact Neo generators at this year’s Southampton Boat Show. The Panda 4000s Neo and the Panda 5000i Neo are the first to use Fischer Panda’s in-house designed water-cooled FPE320 single cylinder diesel engine.
Affordable and easy-to-install, the Neo generators are the latest additions to diesel generator expert Fischer Panda’s range of compact gensets and are ideal for boat owners with limited space who are looking for independence away from marinas or shore power.
Both generators provide 230V/50Hz AC output that ensures a reliable, clean power supply for running household domestic equipment, electric cooking and keeping batteries charged. Featuring the renowned Fischer Panda sound insulation, they run extremely quietly at a noise level of 54db(A) at a distance of 7m.
Panda 4000s Neo
The compact Panda 4000s Neo is a fixed speed generator rated at 3.4 kW (4.25kVA). It is the perfect solution for boat owners looking for an easy-to-install unit to provide continuous 17amp output to charge batteries and run a range of domestic appliances as well as some on-board electrical systems.
Weighing just 93kg, the 4000s generator measures 550mm (length) x 450 (width) x 518 (height). Launched in April this year to add to Fischer Panda’s ‘entry level’ range, it is the re-design of the longstanding and popular Panda 4000s FC.
Panda 5000i Neo
The environmentally-friendly 5000i Neo is rated at 4.0 kW (5kVA) and is part of Fischer Panda’s variable speed iSeries ‘Perfect Power’ range.
The 5000i is extremely lightweight at 75kg and measures 456mm (length) x 426 (width) x 526 (height). Like all iSeries Fischer Panda inverter generators featuring variable speed control, the new model is characterised by its high efficiency, quiet operation and compact design. The next generation technology means the speed of the diesel engine is adjusted according to the user’s changing power requirements while the output voltage always remains constant from the PMGI inverter. This not only significantly improves fuel efficiency, but also benefits the environment as the engine is always working correctly loaded thereby operating at its most efficient with reduced wear and emissions in comparison with a traditional generator with fixed speed RPM.
The 4000s and 5000i are 'twin circuit cooled' via an integral heat exchanger and treated sealed fresh water circuit, an efficient system featured in the majority of Fischer Panda’s AC gensets.
The new FPE320 engine features integrated oil filter and synchronous alternator for even lower running noise levels and reduced vibration.
