Dometic: Award-Winning Year for Dometic in Italy
Dometic Italy is celebrating a successful 2017 with two award honours.
The marine air conditioning specialist picked up the accolade for Best Supplier of the Year (Standard Production) at the Ferretti Group Suppliers’ Conference in December.
At a ceremony attended by Ferretti Group’s top executive management, Dometic Italy Managing Director Roberto Bonomi received the award on behalf of his team from Ferretti CEO Alberto Galassi.
Dometic Italy, formerly known as Dometic Condaria before the company unified its product range under one globally-recognised brand, is well-known for its large chilled water air-conditioning systems and custom-designed products for various leisure and commercial applications.
Earlier this year, Dometic Italy team also won the Dometic CEO award, announced during the company’s leadership conference.
Julien Le Feuvre, Head of Marine OEM – EMEA, Dometic, said: "The team in Italy consistently manage to place Dometic as the indisputable leader in marine air conditioners. Their persistent work with product improvements, quality, and with very strong technical and application engineering skills have resulted in a very strong market position and great business results."

Condaria has been building marine chilled water air conditioning systems since 1965 and was acquired by Dometic from Taylor Made Corporation in 2003. From 2017 Condaria is sold under the Dometic brand.
