Alle Cat Takes it All at the Red Snapper Roundup

Mastry Engine Centers has announced that team 10 – 4 BBQ was the big winner at the Apalachicola Red Snapper Roundup, hosted at the Scipio Creek Marina on June 26 and 27, taking home almost $6000.

The team was awarded the prize for winning the tournament with a 2-fish aggregate of 46.9 pounds and secured additional winnings by taking the Calcutta with a 25.5-pound red snapper, the largest. Team 10 – 4 BBQ also won the Oyster City Suzuki Extra Grand Challenge, which awards $1000 from Suzuki to the owner of the winning team’s boat if it was powered by a Suzuki outboard.

The 10 – 4 BBQ team fished on Alle Cat, a Mako 23 powered by a Suzuki DF250 outboard, with Alle Cat owners Shawn and Jessica Chisholm, their father Mike Chisholm, their niece Johanna Broker and Captain Michael Bodiford onboard. Shawn repowered his Mako from an older Mercury outboard and upgraded with a new Suzuki DF250.

Brent Magsig, regional manager for Mastry Suzuki Repower Centers, along with Trae Ross, owner of Oyster City Suzuki, presented the award and the $1000 to Shawn and his team.

“The whole team were excited to win the Apalachicola Red Snapper Roundup,” said Alle Cat owner Shawn. “I could not be happier with my Suzuki DF250 4-stroke, it’s a great outboard.”
