ACR Electronics: ACR Electronics Wins NMEA Award for GlobalFIX V4 EPIRB
Leading electronics manufacturer honoured with Product of Excellence Award in the first year for Safety and Security Category
ACR Electronics,a Drew Marine Company, has received a Product of Excellence Award at the annual National Marine Electronics Association (NMEA) International Marine Electronics Conference & Expo for its GlobalFIX V4 EPIRB.
The leading electronics manufacturer was honored for its new professional grade design Emergency Position Indicating Radio Beacon (EPIRB) in the new Safety and Security Category. NMEA members selected the award winners for 16 product categories through an on-line voting process.
The GlobalFIX V4 EPIRB offers the latest in marine electronic lifesaving technology and features high-efficiency electronics for reliable performance.
Gerry Angeli, President of ACR Electronics, said: “It is always special to receive an industry award because those that know voted us the best. We are particularly honored as this is the first year for the safety and security category. More than 450 leading marine electronics manufacturers, dealers, distributors, media and others from across the world attended the three-day event.
ACR Electronics is celebrating its diamond anniversary this year. Over the past 60 years, ACR has had the honor of manufacturing lifesaving equipment for military forces, aviation and space programs, and for maritime and outdoor enthusiasts around the world.
