ACR Electronics’ latest safety innovations unveiled at SMM, Hamburg
Fort Lauderdale, August 29th - ACR Electronics is set to showcase its most advanced product line up yet at SMM, Hamburg 2024, taking place from September 3rd to 6th.
Show visitors can visit ACR Electronics in Hall B6, Stand 353 to explore the company’s latest technological advancements designed to enhance safety across marine, aviation, outdoor, and military sectors. ACR Electronics is a global leader in safety and survival technology and this year’s exhibition reflects its mission of saving lives through innovative technology.
The featured product range, designed to meet the highest standards of safety and reliability include:
ResQFlare Pro (RTCM E-Flare) – An advanced electronic visual distress flare that meets the latest Radio Technical Commission for Maritime standards. This flare provides multi-color visibility with infrared technology and offers users exceptional reliability in critical situations.
SR303 (GMDSS Survival Radio) – A robust and durable survival radio, engineered for optimal performance in the harshest of emergency conditions.
Pathfinder AIS (AIS SART) – An AIS Search and Rescue Transmitter that provides precise location data, significantly improving the efficiency of search and rescue operations. This transmitter also has NFC mobile app connectivity for programming and testing ease.
Bivy Stick Mesh – The first satellite messenger to integrate advanced long range radio communications (LoRa-enabled) and mesh networking with the global reach of the Iridium Satellite network. This versatile safety and communication device has been designed to keep users connected, even in the most remote and demanding areas, without relying on cellular coverage.

The GlobalFix V5 AIS EPIRB and the ResQLink AIS Personal Locator Beacon (PLB), debuted at SMM in 2022, will also be on display at this year’s event. Both the GlobalFix V5 AIS EPIRB and the ResQLink AIS PLB leverage the global response capabilities of Cospas-Sarsat and AIS technology, in an industry first, significantly increasing the speed of location and aid and thus the chance of rescue in emergency situations.

SMM is the leading international maritime trade fair that takes place at the Hamburg Messe und Congress GmbH from Tuesday 3rd September to Friday 6th September.
